Raul Correa is a dedicated public servant with a strong commitment to his community. Raised in Miami as the child of Cuban exiles, he is one of five siblings and proud graduate of the historic Miami Senior High. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Group Communications from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Louisville’s Southern Police Institute, completing the 49th Command Officers Development Course. Raul began his career as a Florida License Private Investigator and Certified Process Server for the Circuit and County Courts before finding his true calling in law enforcement, joining the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department in 1990, and retiring at the rank of Commander. Throughout his 30-year career, he acquired thousands of in-service training hours, played a critical role in achieving Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation for nearly 500 sworn officers, managed significant investigations, and oversaw major divisions and campaigns. He is proud to have launched the School District's Police Explorers youth program that has mentored hundreds of high school students and to have built community trust through community outreach initiatives. Since his retirement in 2020, Raul has continued to contribute as a Law Enforcement Professional General Instructor at Miami Dade College’s School of Justice, mentoring and training aspiring officers.

As the CEO of Miami Tactical LLC, he provides expert consultation in leadership development, crisis management, community engagement, and public safety strategies. In addition to his professional pursuits, Raul is actively involved in community service, having worked with Habitat for Humanity and World Vision. He currently serves as Vice President and Volunteer Chaplain for Victory for Youth/Share Your Heart.

A dedicated family man of bold faith, Raul is a husband and proud father of three adult children. He is recognized as a trusted advisor, respected mentor, and passionate advocate for creating safer, stronger, and more compassionate communities.
