Mr. Raul Correa is a product of the Historical Miami Senior High, a Miami-Dade County Public School and a graduate of Trinity International University with a B.A. in Communications. He served as a law enforcement officer for over 30 years in the greater Miami area, retiring as a Police Commander.  He is a proud graduate of the prestigious University of Louisville Southern Police Institute (SPI) 49th Command Officers Development Course. He has acquired thousands of in-service career training hours in a wide arrangement of areas to include active shooter, incident command and crisis management among others within his portfolio.

He served as a Public Information Officer for Miami-Dade Schools Police, the largest School Police Department in the United States, serving the fourth largest School District in the nation.

During Mr. Correa's career he supervised investigations, to include investigations for the Office of Professional Standards involving all the School District's employees.  He has commanded field operations, recruitment and selection, training and community outreach, where he spearheaded the creation of the Police Explorers Program.  He served in many police and administrative capacities and task forces receiving numerous commendations throughout his three decades of public service.

He has volunteered for several community charities to include Habitat 
for Humanity, and World Vision. He is a Volunteer Chaplain and Vice President of Victory for Youth/Share Your Heart, and is the Chief Executive Officer at Miami Tactical LLC, a strategic consulting network. 

Mr. Correa is a part-time General Instructor at the School of Justice at Miami-Dade College North Campus.

 
He is unapologetic about his Christian faith, which helps drive his decisions rather than the other way around.  He is a devoted family man residing with his wife in South Florida and has three adult children.
